  Hi Guys, I have a 96 fiesta with the Endura 'E' engine which recently has decided to start cutting out. This only seems to occur when decellerating or if you rev the engine say over 3000 revs and drop off quickly. It feels like it's not getting enough fuel, checked the spark plugs, they look ok

  recur at later junctions, but less. Garage says 'no fuel system leak' and the exhaust is OK. I suspect an unburnt fuel build up somewhere on the inlet side of the engine which then blows back.   any suggestions on the cause of a non start punto, its a v reg mk 2 1200 8 valve with 10k on clock, checked for belt snapped,ok we have fuel and lots of it, we have spark, checked all engine management fuses. Iam informed before it packed in, it was running poor, no power spluttering etc
