  I am due for brake fluid and fuel filter change. Rather than pay main dealer rates, can i use my local garage, but ensure my warranty is still valid. I would be asking for Nissan parts for the filter.

  Apart from the top shock, bottom pinch bolt, ARBlink & brake line clip is there anything else i need to disconnect to geta shock out? Do i need to seperate ball joints, track rod eye ends?

  does any body know why wheel covers seem to be always coloured silver, only just bought a black car, thought black covers would suit better, espiecally given that they get filthy black from brake dust.

  I've heard that some genuine vauxhall bits are remarkably cheap, whilst others aint - can anyone advise what to get from the GM dealer, and what to source elsewhere ( e.g belts, brakes, exhaust, wipers etc. ) (Zafira, btw.) cheers

  Showing my ignorance I know but where does "brake horse power" come from? My bike is 95bhp - does it mean it could drag 95 horses down the road? Seems a bit improbable. Has anyone tested this claim by the manufacturers?!

  Is it possible to actually adjust a hydraulic clutch, like it is with cable types? My handbook doesnt actually give any spec? The car is a 1991 Celica, can I assume if the clutch pedal is in line with brake pedal it is ok?

  Traction Control and ABS warning lights on permanently. No problem with braking and connectors have recently been checked. Has anyone experienced this problem?. Car otherwise in very good condition, mileage 78000.

Before I react & have it looked at & part with cash etc, if I test by braking hard and if the ABS kicks in and it's just a sensor malfunctioning, is my mechanic right that they will fail it next MOT if the light's on?   I've been offered a Eunos for £3500. It's a P reg, less than 10K miles p.a., new hood, cambelts, brakes. Looks in nice condition. Owner is known. Does this seem reasonable? Or should I leave it alone? Thanks X

  I have a vectra 2003 which has started showing the brake pad wear warning light on the dash. How reliable is this sensor could it be giving a false reading? The car has done 40k many thanks for any help John Jennings
