  I would like to buy an ix35 but I hate the shiny silver trim on the dash and steering wheel. It looks like it belongs on a 1970s Hong Kong radio. Is there a kit to replace the trim with something more subtle or can it be wrapped or painted?

  My 'new' car has a cd multichanger. The problem is the sound from both front and rear left-hand speakers is very poor. I've checked the balance and that's set OK and the speakers are fine when in radio mode. Any suggestions please?

  I keep hearing traffic reports on the radio which refer to a jam being caused by an 'overturned lorry'. There's at least one a day. Why do they overturn with such alacrity? Are they loaded badly so that they are top heavy or do the drivers corner at lunatic speeds? I think we should be told.
