  Every jouney car starts well but stops when revs are low it sort of stutters along.  Stoping engine and staring again using high revs car goes until revs are low then it comes to put put put almost halt  .  It has had a full oil change .   New valves  six months ago

  This car (only 37,000) miles has had a "notchy" gearchange for years. Having recently driven a Ford with a lovely gearchange I am wondering first is the Merc faulty or is this a common feature? Secondly it seems like a good idea to change the gearoil in which case has anyone had good results

  My air con whines when I switch it on. the note increases with revs so I assume its a mechanical issue, the aircon still works fine, but would like some advise before it goes tits up (pardon the Pun). does the pump need oil or some kind of lube ? if so can it be changed/topped up without dumping

  be, my first thought was valve clearance, its a 1.25 zetek with 84k on it, apart from oil changes it has never had any work done to it.

  75000 mile service will be due in the next couple of months. Thing is, Honda want £550 for this one because gearbox oil and sparkplugs will be changed(1st time). Usually, the expensive service costs between £250-300. Across the board, this particular service for MK6 Civic's is the mega expensive

  the revs to the ratio takes a bit of getting used to. Do you think a gear oil change would make any difference here or is this an inherent fault with Celica's. By the way the car is great, I love it (except for the gearbox!).

  I have a 4 year old Civic, so it is out of warranty. It is due its 36k service soon....which is £178 at the Honda dealer. For that I get Oil/Filter, brake fluid changed and 40 or 50 checks. I could do a service myself replacing all fluids/filters/plugs etc for less than half that. What I wont get
