Hi I recently did an oil change on a Picasso 1.8 while I was under the car I noticed a green plug near the sump It looks like it should have wires going to it but I can't see anything. Does anyone know what its for ?

Hi
It might be for electronic oil level guage, my Laguna had one that would display the level of the oil in the sump on the dash, when the ignition was started. this envolved the senser going into the sump.

I would reckon a guess that this is what its for, if the wiring is not place, then it might be a dummy plug as it might have been a optional extra.

I could of course, and more than lilkley be pretty wrong but it was just a idea that may help, someone with more knowledge will probs be able to advise
