Great style and performance.

Before buying my V60 I had driven a number of other Volvo models and found them all to be enjoyable and, in the main, engaging cars to drive. I wanted something a bit bigger than a hatchback, but did not feel I could justify something from the XC range; the V60 seemed an ideal compromise for my needs.
Having done some research, it seemed that the best option was the D4 - 2014 model onwards, to get the 181bhp model. Eventually, I found a great deal for a pre-registered R-Design variant with winter pack included.

To date the car has been outstanding. I have already covered more miles than I anticipated, and have enjoyed them all. The car is quite quick, handles really well, and brakes better than I had anticipated. The driving position and seats are as good as anything I've previously tried, and better than the vast majority. There's room enough in the back seats to comfortably accommodate adults, allowing plenty of legroom for the driver and front passenger.

The V60 is economical though, to be honest, too much enjoying the car has led to 50 - 55mpg rather than the claimed 70mpg which may well be achieved if driven more sedately!

I have seen comments stating that there is less carrying capacity than the Audi A4 Avant and BMW 3 series Touring, which I have to agree with, but I find those comments a bit of a non-argument. The whole point of the V60, for me, is that it is a sportwagon rather than claiming to be a large cargo carrier. If that is what you need, buy something else. If, on the other hand, you want a sporty, small-ish estate I don't think this would be bettered.

Quite simply, in my opinion this is an outstanding car, a pleasure to drive and own. I have had no regrets in parting with my hard earned cash in purchasing it.
