Worst experience ever...No longer own it!

I have always been a fan of the Polo... I started off with a 2007 Polo which was reliable, practical and everything that I needed! If you are interested in a pre-2010 model Polo, then you don't need to read any further as I have no complaints about these cars. However, if you are interested in the New 2018 Polo, then I would like to tell you that it was the biggest mistake of my life to buy this car!

If you are still considering the new Polo, I would recommend you stay away from the automatics (especially the 1.0 litre models) as they definitely have issues with their gearboxes which the manufacturer cannot fix/does not want to fix! For example, after the car has been stationary (in traffic for example whilst the engine is still running) it can take it a considerable amount of time to move off! These instances have left me thinking that the car had broken down. This is a dangerous fault in the car as this has happened to me in situations which could have lead to serious harm, such as on a roundabout and a dual carriageway!

I would not recommend the car as I have had multiple issues with my brand new Polo which is a shame as the cars look lovely! Not all issues related to the gearbox! Your choice... whilst I had the car I only experienced STRESS... The choice is yours now!

Sorry I forgot to mention my favourite thing about the New Polo... it has 5 seats, but you can only use 4 seats as there is a recall on the rear passenger seat belt! After 6 months, they still have no permanent solution to fixing it! Complete joke! If you need 5 seats, DO NOT buy this car!
