SRi 2.0 CDTi 16v 165 ecoFLEX Start/Stop 5dr Hatchback

Very Refined good motorway car,poorly put together very unreliable,

For:-Refinement much better than previous Astra feels more like a big car.Two litre diesel Engine plenty of pull. Drivers Seat very comfy on 5 hour runs. Reasonable on fuel 40-70 mpg

Against:- Water trapped in front doors, bonnet feels like rice paper when closing it. Rattling trim to roof lining constant rattle like a London bus at the traffic lights.
Front passenger floor soaking (broken membrane?) fixed warranty.
Off side indicator stopped working fixed warranty
Off side headlight not working (wiring loom connector) cost to me
Air conditioning stopped working stone chip ,new unit fitted £400+ (why would design put a unit in harms way without a stone guard) cost to me.
Coil springs renewed all round 2 done under warranty, 2 cost to me.
Control unit not working, symptoms, doors open/closing ,hazards flashing, wipers working, all dials at zero, engine cutting out ,self check repeating. all this going on as I was driving on the motorway.(Pipe from air con unit kinked, water built up and got into the control module) Was It fitted correctly when repaired ? Fixed warranty.
