Skoda Kodiaq (2016 - 2024)
2.0 TDI 150ps SE 5SEAT 4X4 5dr SUV
Comfortable, practical and does what iut says on the tin
For the first time in my life I have had to buy my own car, rather than having a company car.
My requirements were pretty simple. I am 6'8" tall and needed to fit as well as being able to get a growing 9 year old in behind me. And to complicate things, my wife is 5'1" and she needs to be able to drive it too.
The Kodiaq or the Superb became the two final choices based on my budget. The high driving position in the Kodiaq just gave it a slight edge.
In terms of spec, my car is absolutely standard and has everything I could possibly need. Things I might have liked but nothing essential. The Android Auto works very well and negates the need for SatNav.
It is quiet and comfortable to drive and returns reasonable economy given its size and weight,
Space and practicality is absolutely fantastic. The kids are more than happy in the back of the car.
I didn't plan to buy a 4x4 but it was what I could get in a hurry, Picking it up on the snowy weekend at the start of December, it has certainly proved its worth.
I would recommend this car very highly to anybody,
