SE L1.4(150bhp) DSG 2WD 7 seats

Best car I have ever ownedBUT!

The 1.4 Kodiag 150bhp DSG is a brilliant car. fast enough (0-62) in 9.1 seconds and powerful enough to carry it's 7 passengers at legal speeds and overtake with ease at any speed. The engine is so 'torquey' , it is more like a small diesel.
Unfortunately I consider the car was launched too early. Although I would still consider it to be the best car out of the 75 I have owned, it does have some annoying niggles.
Common problems on the kodiaqforums.co.uk from which mine suffers are.
creaking door cards.
Initially unreliable electronics (now put right by dealer)
'Pop~out' door guards, becoming trapped and getting knocked off when closing the door
Faulty tailgate operation using the external tailgate handle.
It must be understood, however, that mine was one of the first six registered in the U.K. and all brand new models often have teething problems. It is disappointing that on a car costing (at the time) £30,650 that ANY faults should be present. That is the price one risks paying for being an 'early adopter'.
I still LOVE my Kodiaq.
