Skoda Fabia (2007 - 2015)
2 1.6 DSG Petrol
excellent up to now
Our car has now done over 104,000 miles and continues to provide trouble free motoring. We have the car serviced every year by our original dealership and the only replacements have been tyres and a new battery after 7 years motoring.
We are in a position to buy a new car but really there is no point as the trade in for our car would be swallowed up after driving the new car off the forecourt.
The DSG transmission has not given us any problems at all, it has been a worry because of the constant problems being raised on this website but maybe the problems are in newer models than ours.
The car is a little thirsty because its a 1.6 petrol engine but not too bad as most of our driving in done in town. We sill manage 40mpg+ when motorway driving.
The car still drives as new and we'd probably choose a new Yeti as our next car if Skoda still made them!
