Range Rover Evoque (2011 - 2019)

A car let down by poor quality components
I should have known better. I had an original 'G' plate discovery. I swore I would never buy a Landrover product again. Then the years passed and I started to look at JLR products and thought 'Their quality control cannot still be at the level of British Leyland blacksmiths' so I bought an Evoque.
Why do JLR allow their suppliers to send heater fans that will not work if you leave the vehicle for a week?
Over and over again, I have to open the bonnet of my £30.000 car, undo the four plastic screws holding the battery cover and then get a piece of dowling to flick the fan to make it start. The dealer says there is no permanent fix. Changing out the fan will mean removing the dashboard and it will break down again within six months. I would have gone to the supplier and invoiced them for every failed item but Jaguar are happy to continue to fit a defective part. This also happens on the Discovery sport apparently. A great car let down by poor quality control and lack of interest by senior management.
