smile on my face

I looked at many makes before deciding the Peugeot was actually the best car in this class, if you want mundane, bland, average or boring then choose the Focus, Octavia, Leon or i20, if you want to be a follower of the "Me Too" club then dig deep and by a German brand, then dig deeper still and spec it up to match the 308 GT, you will be far poorer and will blend in to the background nicely.
Having now driven the Peugeot for a few thousand miles the MPG is not far of what i had hoped for, 50 plus mpg motorway driving and 43mpg comuting in rush hour traffic, sport button is certainly worth having, changes the car completly, when i was on road test the salesman pushed the button as i drve down the A3 slip road, the car became quicker to resond all round, engine gearchange steering etc everything livened up and the smile on my face was worth the screen price of the car alone, coming from a Qashqai which was a good reliable car but i had forgot that driving could also be fun and enjoyable too. dont see that many of the GT version on the road, friends all think it is a lovely looking car which they are supprised by it being a Peugeot, this car company have been making huge steps forward over the last decade and the 308 is another feather in their cap
