Overall reliability
A triumph of style over substance
Run flat tyres have been useful once but rattles and hard ride from suspension tyre combination.
Very short for space inside - very useful for parking in Paris.
Seats very good indeed
Pretty good to drive
Visibility good.
Gearbox passable but not as good as later or even earlier Austin Rovers and nowhere near as good as Volkswagen
Switch positioning dash etc terrible ergonomics
Fuel economy simply awful - ? combination of lousy BMW engine and poor aerodynamics?
