Overall reliability

Love. love. love it!!

I was apprehensive about changing from my Freelander to the Mini Countryman. The Freelander was unreliable and after only 50k mile starting to cost £1k a year to keep on the road not including servicing!!.
After just over a year of trouble free motoring I have to say I love this car. Yes they are expensive to buy but with the low road tax and super fuel consumpution (I'm averaging 58mpg), I am actually saving money.
It's very nippy, parking is a doddle. I've read reviews which said blind spots are bad, I disagree totally I find the vision fantastic, I'm 5'2" so perhaps its better for a smaller person??.
Couple of negative points obviously it's a mini so the boot isn't huge but plenty for what I need and my 2 dogs and could do with window controls on the door, other than that no complaints.
It's very comfortable even on a long journey, for all passengers.
It handles brilliantly.
I wouldn't hesitate buying another one in a couple of years time.
