Nice with a But

Minis, quirky, nippy, German technology and engineering from BMW. This is my 4th to date and I do have a thing for them

I found the leather seats made it a bit less comfortable and as it was a countryman Cooper S, a bit too ridged for my old bones.. one of my biggest gripes was the amount of times I received a tyre pressure warning. It was constant in the autumn, winter and early spring.

Fuel economy is not bad considering I live in a city but the abundance of potholes and speed bumps and constant start stop doesn’t make it brilliant. Take it out of the city and on a longer drive and the fuel economy improves considerably

Space is great for a Mini, seat position is higher up and you get a better view of the road.

I recently had a Peugeot 208 as a loan car due to the Mini being in for a minor repair and I swore, I’d stop moaning . Yes overall a great car,
