Great car which will become a classic

Having owned numerous BMW 5s, 7s and Mercedes E and S class plus other large luxury cars, this is my favourite.Stunning looks - can't count the number of times people have come up to me after parking to say how much they like the look. Inside, it's well laid out and very luxurious compared to similar BMW and Jaguar. Engine (petrol) is super-smooth and almost silent, with plenty of poke unless you're a complete hooligan, and the ride is incredibly forgiving over our terrible roads. Mine has done over 80,000 miles (12000+ with me) and has been totally reliable, with several long continental trips and indicated 145mph in Germany. In town, don't expect more than 18mpg, but on a long run, 34+ is easy - the high top gear also means the engine is unstressed even at high speeds. Important: only buy with a full service history, and change the oil more often than indicated. Downside: it is a (full) four seater only, although it has a vast boot for the luggage, and it is a big car to park if you live in town, although it's easy to place. This is a truly great car which you should test drive to see how good it is...you'll be hooked.
