Mercedes-Benz CLS (2005 - 2011)
Mercedes CLS
Outstanding
Had the 320 for a almost 4 months now.
What a gorgeous looking thing she is.
The drive is sublime, the economy is good (30-37mpg) ... achieved 45mpg on a long run without stop and starts.
The handling is easy, and the power is surprising (and delightful).
The automatic gearbox is gentle and the gear changes seamless.
Don't go to Mercedes for servicing, most garages (independent) know what they are doing, and will halve the (labour) costs.
Superbly built - I was sceptical at first for picking an older car over a newer car, but I don't regret it - you get what you pay for, and although my car is older, it will outlive any 'new' Malaysian or cheap French cars.
Only 4 seats, but no complaining, you wouldn't be looking at this car if you need to taxi a family.
The reputation of Mercedes build quality precedes itself here.
What a beautiful machine.
