Best car I have owned
Very good driving experience, especially on long journeys - car handles well and is comfortable to sit in. Getting in and out very easy. It was pretty much immaculate when I got it and has been faultless ever since. I have a light right foot and have managed in excess of 40 mpg in mixed driving without trying very hard - even in winter. Load-carrying capability impressive - shelf removal and folding the rear seats v.easy. I bought the petrol version to avoid Mazda's well-known diesel problems and accept that you don't get a lot of mid-range torque. However, even in 6th gear the car has no problems in motorway traffic.
