2.0 TS2 5dr Hatchback

Refined, comfortable, quiet, well built

Bought at 85k miles at 4yrs old. The car has had a hard life with some stupefying annual mileages, but mainly serviced bang on (3-4 times a year sometimes). The car is extremely well built (better than my mk v golf) with excellent cabin build quality, I can forgive the cheap plastics for the build. Its huge inside with a massive boot. Cruising is almost silent. Handling is great, suspension is firm but comfortable, I find the seats very good. Grip on the 17in 205 45s is excellent in dry and wet, hopeless in the snow (the worst I've had!)
My only issue is a fault with the engine that causes surging at low revs, garage cannot find anything but in doing my own investigations! Even with this fault I still line the car. MPG is about 35 ave, 38-40 on a steady run, for a 2 litre petrol in a large car is great I think.
