Uncomfortable

We bought this car new in 2008. After 1 month the details on the key disappeared, when we took it back the dealer said it was not warranted and the details disappeared because we used it. Not good from the start. Throughout its life its had 3 sets of wiper arms and 9 new sets of wiper blades and it's still got horrible screecy wipers. It is the most uncomfortable car to ride in, I feel so bad after a journey, I dont want to return home in it. It has NEVER achieved it's stated mpg usually 37 mpg. It's annoying as it's been so reliable passed all its mots no fail or advisories. It always starts first time. But it's now done 97000 miles and we were hoping it would fail its last mot so we could buy a nearly new car. The sill on the boot is too high for shopping as we are elderly and have trouble lifting. Maybe if we bought the non sporty version we might have had less backache. If it fails an mot next year we can at last get a newer COMFORTABLE car.
