Mazda 2 (2007 - 2015)
Mazda 2 sport 2010
Disappointing
Seems to be a good reliable car but two main issues...1. The car has no low rev torque its performance up to 3500 revs is dreadful and a sloppy accelerator pedal doesn't help..easy to stall too for same reason. At 4000 revs car really starts to perform but if your in the city or on country lanes you are already over the legal and safe speed limit by then so it's only of use on the motorway as a fun sport car...which is pointless. If you're brought up on its sister sporty fiestas which DO have good low Rev torque then you'll be disappointed. 2. Other problem with this car is the absolutely dreadful access to the rear seats..if you regularly want to drop an extra bag etc.. On the rear seats you will soon find out what a nightmare this is..both hands are needed to get the seat folded which means putting down the bag /child whatever... And then two hands need to push seat back. When you finally get into drivers set yourself you realise all your seat adjustments are gone and you need to reset them . Oh and the rear parcel shelf comes off fixings everytime you use the boot!
