Excellent economy!

This is our second Jazz, with a CR-V in between. Driven sensibly I get 80+ miles/gallon on solo shopping trips, with 75+ when my wife is in the car. Where we live in Italy there is a 70kph speed limit on country roads and I often obey it. Motorway driving demands a higher speed, but a steady 110kph (as near 70 mph as makes no difference) gets you over 60mpg. In calculating these numbers I have adjusted the car's reported consumption upwards by 5% - can't get the re-fueling quantities more accurate than that.

Annoyances? The ride is quite firm. Not long after the car was delivered (6 months after we had ordered it) we drove back home from Rome. That's nearly 600km. Sore bums all round! And the emergency flashers' switch is too close to the console through which you control Google Maps, Spotify, etc. Actually, it's a pain finding a USB cable that will connect your Samsung phone to the Android Auto in the car.

On a more positive note: The reported booming/roaring on acceleration is tolerable - perhaps because I have a light right foot. The magic seats enabled me to collect son and a B&W bicycle case from the airport. TBH I was surprised it fitted through the doors, but we could nearly have put the narrower of the rear seats back down once it was loaded.
