Honda CR-V (2012 - 2018)
2.2 i-DTEC EX 150 5dr SUV
Comfortable and reletalively refined
Have had 2 New Honda Accord Tourers (2004 & 2006) had a New CRV (2010) all diesel and EX trim, and then this CRV from November 2012.
Have had no issues with this car, have covered 42000 miles, of mainly 40 mile daily commute, and holidays to South of France and Costa Brava. There is an occasional rattle of drivers side dash, (sorted with a thumb), 46.2 mpg on B milometer over the coa*** of last 22 months, this is with a very steady driving style for the commute, steady acceleration, barely braking, and some free wheeling when conditions allow.
Came with free 4 year service plan, which has been good. On the last service however, I was told that the brakes had a slight bind, and the handbrake needed adjustment. This could rectified for £44. I declined, I had been free wheeling when safe to do so, and at slow speed, I am sure I would noticed if the brakes where binding. On my previous Accord models the hand brake was always adjusted as part of the service. Felt there where trying to rip me off, if it happens again, I will switch brands.
Grantham Honda keep a eye on your service department.
