1.5 182 St-Line X EcoBoost Auto 5dr

Very quick Indeed

I love a Focus had quiet a few of them over the years but had strayed away from the brand for a bit.
I wanted something with a bit of oomph so initially looked at a ST but at this time ford had stopped auto production because of alleged emissions problems which I frankly didn't give a monkeys about.
We finally managed to track down the last 182 auto in whatever they call the metallic blue but it was a estate.
Nevermind still looks great and gives us a bit more room for grandchildren duties.
I can't believe how quick it is. Considering its a 3 cylinder 1.5 it leaves the Audi brigade standing much to their annoyance. It handles brilliantly (no surprise there) and you can really feel it bite into corners and sticks like glue to the road. Sound good too. Ride is a bit hard but it is s ST line on 18 wheels.
Controls are a bit fiddly and the Infotainment system is average. I plug my phone in and use Android auto.
The auto box is a bit clunky especially going into drive but that's a characteristic sir.
I stick it in sport which calms the shift pattern down a bit and is oddly more economical.
Hate the electronic handbrake too fiddly.
Brakes are very powerful.
So far so good then and love it.
I understand from a friend that it can be remapped to 220 ish which frankly is unbelievable not that I will be doing that as it's has enough potential to get me into trouble as it is
