Excellent in all respects, a grown up 'Junior' Hot Hatch

Have never been a Ford owner since a mid -70's 2nd hand 1100cc Escort, despite hiring a low powered Fiesta in the early noughties( on holiday and was impressed with how it drove) I was certainly not expecting how good this ST was.
I did a test-drive and signed up on the same day. Just stunningly good to drive and over the 3000 miles I have now done have averaged 40.6 mpg without much effort to drive in an economical manner
The only criticism I could level is the very comfortable Recaro seats can start to become less so over a very long journey and the drivers footrest is a little too small to allow you to shuffle about easily to ease the ensuing back pains
There is a reasonable amount of boot space and rear passenger space also, the fit and finish is good, the equipment level on my ST-2 is good, the only missing item is rear-sensors/camera that would aid parking, but where I live that omission isn't much of a deal-breaker
Overall......fantastic!!
