Fiat 500 (2008 on)
Pop 1.2 69 3dr Hatchback
The whole is better than the parts but how can you not love it.
This is my second 500. The first was bought for £7900 new. The second prereg at £8500. Try to get a post 2010 model the handling is much improved. I think these cars are best bought as the basic model, they can get silly when you move up the range. They are easy to sell on, I could have sold 10 of them with the last sale. Women love them, all the calls I had were from nice middle class girls. Absolutely nothing has gone wrong with either of my 500s, they are bullet proof in the 1.2 version. The main feature of these cars is the styling, nothing else in this class looks so good on your drive (Even the mini which I think now looks dated). I still regret selling my last one and Im convinced I will have another.
The bad points are: the ride is still unsettled, the handling cannot compete with a mini or fiesta, and the space is terrible in the back and boot. The front seats are great and comfortable, but even for 2 you cannot go on holiday if you have more than a few bags.
Having said this I would have another in a shot no other car for £10k will make you smile every time you see it on your drive.
