Citroen C4 Picasso (2013 - 2018)
C4 Picasso 1.6 BlueHDI Exclusive + automatic
A really good all round car - but!
So far am delighted with this car except for the SatNav. Just why Citroen want to develop and install their own SatNav is beyond me. The display on this model is excellent with its additional map and detail display on the upper touchscreen. But why don't Citroen put all the post codes in?
I sent mine back to the garage for the SatNav to be updated, thinking this would resolve the problem. I was told that it was up to date and that Citroen don't use post codes. This is r****** because it accepts post codes most of the time but irritatingly, not always; and I'm talking about codes that have been established for decades. It also fails to recognise place names and road names but then when you get near to those places, it shows those names on the screen. Weird! I shall probably have to buy a TomTom for occasional use. Of course, I can buy a TomTom with lifetime updates for less than the cost of updating the installed SatNav.
The only other minor grumble is that the take up on the auto gearbox hesitates when you put your foot down.
The most useful new (to me) feature is the rear view camera. It's brilliant. I don't need the auto parking feature because it is much easier to reverse anywhere using the camera in conjunction with the dropped door mirrors.
Overall I thoroughly recommend this car/model but be prepared to buy a TomTom.
