Best car I have ever owned.
Pros: Lovely rounded aerodynamic design, roomy, quiet, refined, good handling and ride, all five rear seats can individually fold flat into the floor, it has a massive boot with all the seats folded down (long enough to sleep in, and I'm 6 foot 1!), good economy, strong chassis (handles speed ramps at speed no problem), easy to park as visibility all round is excellent, has a surprising turn of speed during motorway overtaking manoeuvres and its an excellent motorway cruiser. Even with my heavy foot during the morning and evening commutes, I can still average 45mpg,so I only needed to fill the tank once every two weeks.
Cons: Struggling to find something bad to say about it, but there are a few things that irritated me about it...The air box is in a really stupid location! (right at the back of the engine), There is plenty of room for one at the front of the engine so this just makes changing the air filter a much more difficult task than it should be. (I ended up removing the original air box, throwing it away, and fitting an aftermarket Carbon Fibre air box at the front of the engine instead, for easy access, plumbed in with Silicone tubing and I made an extension cable to allow me to relocate the MAF sensor.) It doesn't come with a spare wheel as standard (you can buy an optional cable hanger kit that holds a spare wheel under the rear of the car via a winch and cable, but it should have been included from new...Probably PSA trying to save some weight). When the Ad Blue type fuel additive runs low (usually after 100K miles) and you ignore the warnings on the dash, as I have been doing for the last 6000 miles, the cruise control doesn't always work (sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, totally at random)...And you really need that cruise control to work all the time as it can help you avoid getting speeding fines! The sidelight bulbs are not standard items you can just buy at any fuel station to stop at (they are halogen ones, with odd side pins), so you have to get them from places like Euro Car Parts or Halfords. Oh, and the oil strainer in the sump must be taken out and cleaned at every oil change, or you risk getting oil starvation to the Turbo...I never did my own oil changes on this car for this reason.
