Comfy

Had the car for just over a week now, was a demonstrator, did not go out to buy a car but just to look at a couple of different makes and models, we are 70 years old, still quite fit but bit stiff but love cars...some cars we struggle to get in and out, looked at a Jag...way to low..so we went and sat in a C4 in the showroom and we got in and out no bother, much bigger car than original C4...we went for a drive and ended up buying the demonstrator...4000 miles..been for a couple of good drives and our general superstore shopping...on a drive you cannot fault the car, very comfortable...I mean really comfortable...responsive and economical, did not hang about and stuck to limits and returned 57MPG..for an automatic I am happy with that..a pleasure to drive..when it comes to general use it has a couple of faults, one being and after years of having cars with it...no electric boot lid....really annoying for my wife...struggles getting it down to close..no electric seats or parts of..windey knobs at rear of seats..wifes arthritis hands means no moving position..got to get used to the strange gear selector..bit fiddly...and one silly thing is does not have a 12volt supply to rear of the car,,,back seats or boot...as with most stop start cars you have to turn the function off every time you start the car, why not set to your liking...on or off....silly things that you would expect a top of the range car to have...well i would have expected anyway..and for a fussy person keep having to touch the screen and leaving finger prints really annoys me...good bit is Climat control is on knobs so no touching the screen.. has all the gadgets and gimmicks but let down on these issues as far as I concerned... we have had Citroen cars for years and always seem to go back to them, last car was Vauxhall Grandland x..me no likey even with electric boot lid.. but we bought the C4 on a whim, wife likes it so we keep it but because bought on a whim I didn't research.. annoyingly..such a shame that they could not have gone that extra mile to make the car faultless beings its classed as top of the range...but still a really nice car for its faults..it must sound if I hate the car but thats not the case, I like it a lot, if it had the bits I mentioned I would love it..its got to last us thats for sure as there will not be anymore cars coming our way so fingers crossed..
