1.6 HDi 16v SX 5dr Hatchback

No real frills but amazing power and economy.

I purchased this car over five years ago. Price was cheap as it was a higher milage car than normal. I have put about 60,000 miles on it. Its just gone clean through the MOT test with over 160,000 miles on. I have had general maintenance which you would expect i.e. tyres cam-belt (water pump at same time for common sense choice) The only issues i have had was needing a new clutch almost two years ago and about three/four years ago the copper injector seals. Apart from that no issues whatsoever. It starts first time every time. Drives like a dream and always returns anything between 65-70 mpg. On occasion i have returned 72.8mpg. Thats not the cars computer reading either thats filling up brim to brim to get more accurate measure.
For the money i paid it owes me absolutely nothing. Even after money spent on maintenance.
Although build quality is not of german standard i would like to think they haven't fiddled the emissions like one of their car marks?
The french diesel engined cars are amazing and they are not afraid to be outrageous with the styling.
Could not recommend it highly enough and will be sorry to see it go when it does. But would buy another tomorrow!
