Alfa Romeo Giulietta (2010 - 2020)
1.4 Multiair 170
Poor reliability, awful electrics but decent to drive
I've owned this car for 4 years, in that time there has been one warranty case within a year of owning it - I'm not sure of the extent of the damage but a gasket was replaced along with all of the electrics associated with the engine. Since then niggles have included, random warning lights coming on the dashboard, the passenger airbag warning light never going off, the radio only works intermittently (most often it doesn't work at all), the satnav only works intermittently, it can either claim the SD card is not formatted correctly the GPS loses all satellites. It didn't work at all for 6 months and then came back again.
I would have got rid of the car before now but the depreciation on it is horrendous so I can't justify selling it. I did know Alfa's had a reputation for poor electrics and bad depreciation but I perhaps naively didn't expect it to be this bad.
My nearest dealership closed down and the next nearest is now about 120 miles away.
