I've criticised garages in the past., so to be fair I should record my appreciation of good service.

I have a 59 reg Mondeo 2.0 TDCI which I like very much. I bought it as an ex Ford Direct car, but from a dealer who goes to their auctions but does not sell it as Ford Direct.

Two trim faults became apparent, but after the 1 year warranty on such things was up. I appealed to Fords Customer service, delaing with an agent called Andrew who was a star. The local Ford dealer priced the work, I got proof of the pre-sale service done by the supplying dealer, and Andrew came back after about a week to say Ford would pay it all.

Had it done today; about £200 worth. Andrew rang yesterday to check it was booked in, and plans to ring on Monday to check I am happy with it.

It has made me very likely to buy Ford again.
