Hubby is having an annoying and potentially dangerous problem with his Corsa. It has done it before, and we initially thought it could be fuel related. He changed filter and ensured never goes below ¼ tank of fuel incase there is any crud floating about that could be blocking the fuel lines.
Its been fine for several months now, then last night did it again. He's travelling along at a stready 70'ish, then it starts "holding back", then just cuts out completely - not wise on a dual carriageway in rush hour! As usual, he left it a minute or so, then started fine first time, was OK for rest of the journey home.
This morning he was ready for it, and low and behold it did it again. He now feels it seems to be about 10 miles into his journey, so we are wondering whether its electrical or temperature related. Fuel pump? Relay?
He has a day off tomorrow and would like some pointers on where we start looking. Any ideas please?
Thanks CM
