Mercedes SLK in Leeds - David Horn
Walked past a brand new Mercedes SLK today in Leeds that was parked in a bay with the engine running and keys in the ignition. No sign of the owner even though I hung around for a few minutes. Eventually nipped around the corner and fetched a policeman who was walking along.

How can you possibly park your car and forget to switch off the engine?! I should've stolen the thing when I had the chance... ;-)

A chap does this every morning at the local post office when I am collecting the mail. I assumed he was so wealthy he could afford for it to be pinched. This is a large Mercedes Saloon

the policeman was rarer than seing keys me thinks
last time i saw kids putting windows through in every car that was parked behind munro house (auto trader) there wasnt a policeman available and you can see milgarth police station over the road


merc might have been nicked anyway as this is the new type of crime.key snatching

and before anybody says im a police knocker i arent

Ex boss of mine pulled up at the theatre (or cinema, I forget) carpark, saw someone he knew, got out of the car to chat, two and a half hour later after the show (film) he got back to the car which was sitting there idling away happily.
