Honda CR-V - HID headlights - prion

I have just bought a new Honda CR-V and was told by the dealer that because it has HID lights it does not need beam deflectors for driving on the continent. Sounds a bit odd to me. Is he correct?

Some HID lights have a lever you can operate to change the angle of the cut-off flaps. It'll all be explained in your handbook.

yes that's correct. They are designed not to dazzle in eiither direction due to their design. although many motorists disagree to the glare caused by oncoming vehicles fitted with HiD.
