Just came upon this scary YT clip of a Merc being launched off a roundabout in Belgium, flying through the air and going straight through the wall of a sports centre, Fortunately no serious injuries*, but I was not entirely surprised to learn from the comments that it was being driven by a professional football player. Another comment was from someone who did some rough calculations and reckoned the car must have been doing around 220kmh (137mph) when it left the ground.

*Which, for those in the centre, seems to have been very lucky indeed with folk having been where the Merc landed only minutes beforehand.

Thankfully no one was seriously hurt - that kind of accident could have been so much worse.

Was it an accident? Or the entirely foreseeable result of driving like a fool at 137mph in an inappropriate manner. Ie over a roundabout.
