Audi A1 Sport 1.4 - Audi A1 Washer Fluid Warning Like not Switching of - ilkeybaby

Hi all, wonder if anyone can help?

My Audi A1 (21K milage) has a washer fluid warning light which came on at the weekend. I've topped up right to the top but the light wont go away. When I recheck it is still full so don't think there is a leak anywhere.

What additive have you used - some are incompatible with the VW Group level sensor - Rain-X specifically but there may be others. Rain-X applied directly to the screen is fine but not the additive that goes in the washer bottle.

Taking into account the varying dilution levels needed for effective clearing, I've found the VW Group additive to be no more expensive than "cheaper" stuff. I've also found that Prestone works out about the same cost.

Thanks I just brought one from Sainsburys. Do you think I should empty it now and put another in?

Other than Rain-X, I don't know which other brands are incompatible.
