Does TPMS use the reset figure as correct?
When you have inflated your car tyres and re-set the monitoring system inside the car does those "new" tyre pressures become the norm? If the pressure drops from the "reset tyre pressures (the norm)" by the pre-determined amount set by the tyre pressure monitoring system then that would activate the warning light and message is that correct?

Resetting the tyre pressures on the TPMS gives the vehicle a new correct figure to work from, so any deflation from this point should trigger a warning.
