After reading about the penalties in the Telegraph from eating whilst driving, drinking coffee, mobile telephone usage etc, the article didn't say anything about smoking at the wheel. Presumably this is not illegal, although potentially lethal? Also, a freind is considering a new Jag, which can have a "App" for remote starting for engine/cabin warming etc from use. He is considering using it from the train whilst travelling to his commuting parking space. Surely this is highly dangerous, illegal and uninsurable? what is your view HJ?
