Can you recommend a small auto for approx £1000?
My sister-in-law has just passed her test for automatics only, we have got some insurance quotes for a Corsa, Micra, Polo and these are just about affordable to insure. Could you recommend the best option for about £1000, are there any other makes/models you would recommend? I know the auto only bit makes it more difficult so any advice would be appreciated.

For £1,000, who knows? Obviously a Yaris 1.0 or 1.3 4-speed auto if you can find one. Not a Polo. Overpriced and overhyped.
