How much does a Cat N affect the value of a car?

There is no hard and fast rule as to how much a Category N marker will reduce the value of a vehicle, as it depends greatly on the values of category-free examples of the particular model. It could be as little as 10% for a desirable model, or as much as 50% for a vehicle that is in less demand and in plentiful supply.
