I bought a used car from a dealer less than three weeks ago and the gearbox or clutch has failed. What is my comeback?

Whether it's clutch or gearbox the problem must have been "present or developing on date of sale" so the supplying dealer is wholly liable: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/
