  I have just purchased a 4 year old fiesta 1.4 petrol with only 11k on the clock. I have done an oil and filter change and filled up with good quality fuel. Can anyone reccomend any fuel or oil additives or should i just give it a good run on the motorway?

  Well, I`ve serviced both of ours on the drive earlier this month. Done the door lock, oil leak and EGR. Hopefully that`s it and they will be OK now until a warm day in March/April for the next oil changes. How about you?

  Is it normal for a turbo to whistle more in the colder weather? I have noticed it's definitely noisier recently, like a feint camping kettle sort of noise. The oil level is correct and within the 18000 mile oil change interval.

  engine, the 130BHP requires 5W/40 oil to standard VW 505 01 - note the '01' and not '00'! Is this standard of oil significantly different? Can I just keep on using the stuff I've got and hope that it is just lubricating enough until the next oil change 6 months later? Any Oil boggins out there? Chi
