oil strainer - auto box. mk2 mondeo - disco dave
anybody got any info on this subject. i used to take it out and clean it on my seiera.but dont how to do this one.and should you do it when you change the fluid .or is it so many miles. cant find no info in haynes service schedual.

Strainer is on oil pump pick up side inside sump,so unless you have taken sump off to clean it.

you may only see a picture of it in Haynes and how to remove,unlikely it will need cleaning unless doing bottom end stripdown.

you may be thinking of a gauss filter??
