Can anyone advise me onthe best way to remove the filter on the F9Q engine (with DPF) on my 2010 Megane? I can see it clearly from the top but it sem burrried under lots of bits! Also is it safe to use an oil extractor on this engine - when I push the dipstick in I feel some resistance after a few cm, does this mean a sump plug only job? I wiyuld like to do the job myself ( using genuine Renault filter and Elf oil ) as I feel 18k is to long to let this motor go in between changes.
