BMW 4 Series - Terrified when given lift 3 Jun 2018 (Forum)
I was recently given a lift by a colleague. He was going to M&S, said do you want a lift, so I said yes as I needed to pick up something for lunch. He has a BMW 4 series, and he claims it does 0-60 mph in 4 seconds. Anyway, we were on a dual carriageway at the Fareham junction south of the M27, and he accelerated very rapidly, then went round a filter lane at an incredible speed before joining the M27. -

Chrysler Voyager (2004 - 2008) - 05 2.8 audio system 3 Feb 2018 (Forum)
I have located the amplifier and checked power supply i have 2x permanent 12v feeds, 2x battery negative and 1x ignition switch feed which are working fine. i have tried to trace the speaker wires from head unit back to the amp but i have no continuity (the colour coding is the same front and rear). i have tried to follow wiring through vehicle it appears to run down the n/s of vehicle and dissapears behind the dash, do the speaker wires go through another module in between head unit and amp. Also on the head unit there is a grey/yellow wire which is energised when head unit is powered up this wire is a power output according to the sticker on the radio but i cant find that wire at the amp where does it go? -
Swerving to avoid a crash (theoretical) 17 Aug 2017 (Forum)
The country lane is about 3 cars wide and knowing that you've braked as hard as you can and do not have hope of stopping and there is a high hedge and no open ground to your left, are you meant to avoid the accident by swerving around car 1's front end and risk crashing into car 2, or are you meant to deliberately crash into the side of car 1 knowing you'll both be badly hurt (and that you or car 1 could still end up in the path of car 2)? -

Renault Megane 07 reg - Selling advice needed 5 May 2017 (Forum)
It is in perfect condition mechanically and has really low mileage (26,000) as it used to be my grandads and I've only had it for about 18 months. Problem is my grandad was still driving well in to his 80's and he's knocked it about a fair bit. A large dent on drivers door, scratches on wing mirrors, bad scrapes along bumper etc. I want to get a good price so I can buy a decent replacement so I need to either get the body work sorted and then sell for a decent price or sell it for cheaper and do nothing about the body work. -

Nail In Tyre & Other Issues 12 Sep 2016 (Forum)
Yesterday son called round with his 1yo Sandero. Had picked up twisted/bent 4" nail in r/o/s tyre. He borrowed my car overnight and this morning took his to local trusted tyre indy. (No warning light from TPMS). They pulled nail out. It had gone horizontally (IYSWIM) through the (plenty of) tyre tread, no puncture, no air loss. -

Ford Focus Estate - Ford Focus 1.6 2006 Instrument Cluster Fault 4 May 2016 (Forum)
I see Ford Focus instrument clusters come to us everyday, both Mk1 and Mk2's for various problems! Mk1 Ford Focus clocks are common for being completely dead or have dials dropping out. Mk2 Focus clocks have more issues such as the car failing to start or going into limp mode as well as the problem I had with warning lights flashing and dials dropping out.
