What's causing the strange creaking in my car?
I recently bought a Ford Focus ST 2016 with 17,000 miles. I have an annoying creaking sound from around the driver door and passenger door area. It's not speed related and has been back to Ford twice. They have had panels off and "lubricated hinges" but I still have it. Any thoughts please? It has leather seats which creak a little but this is coming from the side.

Might be the seatbelt inertia reel spring or trigger. Might be suspect B pillar welds. JLR has been having a lot of trouble with this on Land Rover Discover Sport. Haven't heard of it before on a Focus.
