Ford Galaxy Limiting 11 Jul 2006 (Forum)
is in a slope aswell. He has changed the spark plugs, ht leads, put injector cleaner through, but still seems to be limiting. I have suggested that he gets it checked in for a computer test to see if it brings up any error codes, would anyone else know of any ideas what it could be? Thanks in advance. Matt -
Very slow starting Bedford Turbo lorry 5 Jun 2006 (Forum)
110 Ah battery that I charge and connect using jump leads. With this set up I can always get it started, but after a very large number of turns. What should I suspect? My first guess is the injector pump. -

New motoring offences 1 Nov 2005 (Forum)
feel there have been serious gaps/weaknesses in the law which have often leading to apparently grossly inappropriate sentences, are these new laws going to make any real differences or are they just an example of an unpopular government kite-flying? I'd be particularly interested in any well -
Is your car losing oil? 10 Jan 2005 (Forum)
In saturdays Telegraph Motoring HJ was sharp with a correspondent whose engine lost most of its oil without bringing up an alarm, and leading to early death. I have not needed to top up the oil in any my cars for about 15 years now, and wouldn't know what oil to use if I did. The Volvos and Subarus -

VW TDI Timing belt change. Who can do it 4 Oct 2004 (Forum)
Leading on from my earlier post about a starting noise on a W Reg VW TDI engine, I've been scanning thru a couple of TDI sites and seen that changing the timing belts on these TDI engines is a job for a specialist only, as special tools and VAG COM stuff is involved. Am I right in assuming a belt -
Starting cycle. 3 Aug 2004 (Forum)
on first attempt in 60% of cases. What could this be? The battery is fine, the leads are fine, the air filter is new and the oil is fresh. The mileage is only 21,000 miles and the bike is 2 years old. Also, how many miles should I expect this engine to last me with regular oil changes and frequent -

Ford Focus Hesitation 4 Apr 2004 (Forum)
there may be a fuel starvation problem. I saw a posting some weeks ago about this which suggested that there is a problem that Ford dealers are aware of and that the problem is the fuel pump. I spoke to my local Ford dealer at the time and they suggested it was likely to be HT leads! Can anyone please -

can vauxhall be trusted? 17 Jul 2003 (Forum)
Having experienced GM's unacceptable 1.6 petrol engine as at 1996 but having had no trouble with their current (if hardly leading edge) 2.0 DTi unit I am wondering if Vauxhall's current engines (petrol and diesel) and their engine management systems can now be relied upon to stay the course -
