Daughter's 96 Cordoba ignition coil failed at the weekend. Fitting a used coil got it running, but with misfire until warm.
Started and ran OK Monday then yesterday turned over without firing and then not even that.
Today I've fitted a new coil and a set of plug leads while charging the battery, but now no sign of life when the key is turned, even with a booster pack, so suspect either starter motor (Bosch) or relay.
I don't have a Haynes or wiring diagram, can anyone please tell me where the relay is so I can check that before lashing out on a starter motor?

have you checked the small wire going to the starter solenoid on the side of the starter motor ?it might have gone o/c due to old age and the extra input from the battery pack

obviously suspect immobilisor as well,
can you hear fuel pump priming on initial turn of key? is there an immobilisor idiot light on this model during key turning?sorry dont know on this car.

Many thanks, oldman, you were spot-on with your diagnosis, I found a break in the wire, once I've fixed that should be sorted. (Wallet breathing a sigh of relief, given the price of starter motors).
